Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage

This treatment is for feet and legs and is particularly beneficial for those who stand on their feet all day long, or feel they lack flexibility in their feet and ankles

This massage combines acupressure, energy balancing, exerciseing and applied yoga exercise. Like a lot of therapies, it has its roots in ancient times, but is perfect for today´s lifestyle where you are on your feet all day long.

This massage works on pressure points, energy lines and most importantly, basic body forces.

Thai foot massage uses fingers, thumbs and hands to rub, knead, exercise and vibrate the limbs. A special wooden acupressure tool is used to apply pressure to specific acupoints on the foot.

The acupressure element of massage works on principles used by reflexology by removing energy blockages you body will achieve homeostasis.

The main thing you will notice after the session is an increased mobility in your feet and ankles. If you try to draw a circle with foot, then try and draw an even bigger one, you will feel the muscles up the sides of your lower leg restrict your movement. If they feel tight, a Thai foot massage will give you greater range of movement.
